Kullu is famous place for pure woolen Kullu SHAWLS. A stop over before Manali with many options to move around valley. Bhuntar airport is just 10 Kilometers from Kullu, nearby, one can plan for small trekking excursion towards Bijli Mahadev or enjoy white water river rafting at Pirdi and Babeli.
Mid-Sep and Mid-Nov are the best seasons. May or June are hot but valley offers nearby excursion options towards Manikaran, Kheerganga, Malana, Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley, Shoja, Banjar, Seyolser Lake, Chehani Kothi. Mar-Mid-Apr can be cold with occasional heavy rain.
